Our planet’s climate and weather are largely determined by regionally varying, thermally driven air and ocean currents. This has led to a huge concentration of the cultivation of our agricultural raw materials for beer production in a just few, ideally suited, local hotspots. As a result, increasingly extreme weather caused by climate change is now threatening the future of our hops and brewing-quality barley.
