Horst Dornbusch is internationally known in the brewing industry as a consultant, brew equipment specifier, beer recipe creator, brewer, beer judge, event speaker, and multilingual author.

Horst has both practical and theoretical experience in almost all facets of brewing from growing and processing raw materials, to brewhouse and cellar work, to the economics of the beer business. He has made beer in breweries large and small on three continents, where he has worked with a wide range of clients on such issues as portfolio development, market positioning, product specifications, and facility planning.

A prolific writer, Horst has published almost 300 articles, as well as many books, about the technical, sensory, and economic aspects of beer and beer-making.

Prior to his professional career in beer, Horst spent two decades in publishing.
